Insight Communications posted a 10% increase in Q1 '10 revenue to $261.4 million, paced by solid RGU additions in basic, digital and data.

Adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization rose 19% to $86.9 million in the quater.

The company added 6,400 basic and18,500 digital subscribers in the quarter, versus additions of 16,000 and 30,700, respectively, a year ago.

Data additions of 14,700 were solid compared to llast year's 19,900. But VoIP additions fell from 24,500 to 1,300 in the quarter.

Total RPU jumped to $121.13 from $110.17 per month.
